  This piece is a re-strike from the Hanfstaengl collections. Franz Hanfstaengl was associated with Gravure Hanfstaengl, which was located in Munich, London, and NY. Gravure is a particular process of making prints.
  This print depicts Felix Mendelssohn, the famous German composer.
  "Copyright by Franz Hanfstaengl" in lower right corner. Title "P.K. 448 Felix Mendelssohn" in lower left corner. Back is stamped "Printed in Germany." The stamp "K.I.B." is below the hair on the right.

Dimensions: Paper 14x20in; Platemark 10x14in
Condition: Good; full margins. Creases running length of left margin. Some minor creases in the margins from wear. Some yellowing.
