The FT145 acoustic guitar pickup by Bill Lawrence is a magnetic guitar pickup for acoustic steel string guitars. It is balanced for bronze wound strings and works both on stage or in the studio. It mounts in the sound hole (round, not F hole) of the guitar. Since this is a magnetic pickup, it only works with steel strings; i.e. not nylon.

This is one of the first, if not the first acoustic pickup available at an affordable price. It was introduced in the late 70's and has been a useful and dependable companion to the acoustic guitarist since then.

It mounts instantly in the sound hole and is fully shielded to minimize noise. Comes complete with Lawrence solderless connector and 12 foot low loss cable.

I’ve had a Lawrence Pick-up that was mounted in an Old Guild I’ve had for 20 plus years and it’s never blinked.
