When you get the new Roland Juno-Gi synthesizer, you can write, record, master, perform, and mix anywhere your heart desires. Even on the beach (if you want to risk getting sand, salt water, and who knows what else in the keyboard), because the Juno-Gi can run on batteries!
Roland Juno synthesizers are known for their sound quality and good design, but the Juno-Gi also packs a punch with over 1300 sounds and an 8-track digital recorder with effects. It was designed with you in mind; i.e. it's light and easily transported (only 13 pounds), and did we mention it runs on batteries? Up to three continuous hours using eight NiMH AA batteries. Don't use alkaline, it's a waste of time and money. Only use the rechargeable NiMH batteries.
If you like lots and lots of voices, you're going to love this Juno! It's got over 1300 of them - more than you'll ever need. It's been scientifically documented - don't ask for proof - that most keyboard players normally only use 10-12 voices, so 1300! my goodness you'll go nuts trying to figure out what to use. The Juno-Gi also features new sets called LIVE SETS, which let you create your own layered performances by stacking and splitting voices together as a set. Cool!
The built-in 8-track digital recorder lets you save your sessions to a removable SD or SDHC card. You can even use a 32GB SDHC card, and it will store up to 192 hours of recording time. Just don't forget to back up all important projects after every session. You can connect your guitar or a mic directly into the synth, and use its on-board effects, which are the same effects found in BOSS's GT series. You name it, it's in there; including vocal effects too.
In addition to all the other features, the Juno-Gi has a MIDI Controller Mode so you can use it as a master keyboard controller with other MIDI devices, or for controlling your DAW software. The bundled software for the keyboard is Cakewalk Sonar LE 8.5, and when you combine the two, you've got your own DAW (digital audio workstation) for use on your Mac or PC. The versatile USB port provides both MIDI and audio so you can stream them bi-directionally (a big word for "two ways"), with your music software.
But wait, there's more! No, there isn't, I'm done; tired of writing and making things up. If you don't know if the Roland Juno Gi synthesizer is for you after reading this and all the specifications, give us a call and we'll give you some advice. Let me add just one more thought. If I had the Juno-Gi in the early 60's, I could've of ruled the world! Watch out Beatles!!
