Arrived in good condition, sounds great.Light enough to not _need_ a button/strap modification. As long as you remember that it's tuned as if it were a normal guitar capoed at the 5th fret (ADGCEA), you should be golden.
The size is great. I can bring it every where I go. The strings it comes with aren't that good. but that's fine. You can purchase a better pair for 5 bucks or so. I've been trying to find this little guy for a few years and finally some one in America has it for $99! Can't beat that. The intonation in the Low E string is a bit off but I think new strings will probably fix that. At any rate is still very playable. The tone is nice. Its a bit brighter being that is a smaller instrument. The voice on it is decent. Sounds more like a small classical than a uke. I will probably adjust the saddle height in the future. to bring down the action a bit. The free case is just a basic holder. No strap, just a handle. Very little protection. The zipper opens only at the bottom so you have to slide in in vertically. Not the best but its free..Overall a great product! would recommend.
