The new Yamaha SV130 Silent Violin provides improved electronics that aid in the elimination of background noise. It also features aux-in capability and onboard reverb. A broader choice of striking colors is now available including Navy Blue, Antique Brown, Black and Candy Apple Red.
The Yamaha SV-130 enables players of all levels to practice silently, any place and at any time. With the inclusion of a 1/4-in. output jack, the Silent Violin can be played through any standard amplifier, and the violin's improved circuitry produces higher quality while reducing noise output.

The SV130K may be used along with an MP3 or CD player through the Aux-In jack, useful for practicing and to playing along with favorite songs. The violin can also be played through a traditional amplifier. Improved circuitry provides violinist with a quieter sound output to enhance tone whether during silent practice or an onstage performance. The design stays true to the original acoustic violin design, which makes switching between acoustic violin and Silent Violin almost seamless.
