Bharatiya Tantuvadya Kendra Veena Although this in not a vintage veena it was made for our shop out of one hundred year old teak Shahid Ali kind of did own thing aesthetically while staying in proportions of a Kanai Lal Veena. The neatest feature of this instrument is the reverse color on the tumba. The adaptation seen in this image is based on a Dagarvani veena by Kanai Lal. The main difference is a platform/ramp for tuning bead adjustment No details where spared even the underside of the tumba is richly carved.
