Hurdy Gurdy by Neil Brook
The Guitar bodied Hurdy Gurdy was a common in the 18th. century when it appears to have been as popular as the Lute backed instrument.This instruments design was taken from one built by J.N.Lambert in Paris,1781.
Mahogany sound board with ebony tangents. Also a pick-up has been installed with the output jack behind the headstock.

This instrument has a total of six strings, two main, three drones and one rhythmic string. It has a beautiful carved finial.
