1/2 Carved sitar by Radhey Shyam Sharma The grape leaf carving on the tabli is a nice variation of the classic design. It is carved mahogany, and has a very good projection. This sitar as the label states is from Benares(Varanasi), a city which quite often turns out some very nice instruments. The carving as well as the color combination as seen on this tumba is perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing I have ever seen.
