The Ibanez Artwood AW54CE cutaway acoustic-electric guitar is a dreadnought-size instrument, and part of the Artwood Series from Ibanez, which made its first appearance back in the 1980s.
The AW54CE Ibanez guitar has high-end features at more affordable prices than comparable brands. Important features include an all-mahogany body, which produces a very warm or deep tone when compared to a spruce top in combination with mahogany back and sides.
The electronics package in the Artwood AW54CE Ibanez acoustic-electric guitar includes a Fishman Sonicore pickup with the AEQ201TF preamp. The preamp includes a built-in tuner for fast, effortless tuning in real-time. The endpin/strap button has a 1/4" output jack for connecting to your sound system or amplifier.
The Open Pore finish on the Ibanez AW54CE allows the guitar to resonate more freely and produce a louder, more robust sound than a guitar finished in the traditional way with urethane or lacquer. When you strum this instrument you can hear the difference.
