The Yamaha FG800VN acoustic guitar is the Vintage Natural finished version of the original gloss-finished FG800, the #1 selling acoustic guitar in the U.S.
The FG00VN has a Vintage Natural finish that’s available on the Yamaha A-Series handcrafted guitars and is reminiscent of a guitar finish that’s experienced decades of exposure to light and has “yellowed” with age. It’s very attractive and has sold very well on other models, so it’s sure to be a hit on the FG800VN. The FG800VN is only available to a select group of Yamaha dealers, you won’t find it everywhere.
Important features on this Yamaha acoustic dreadnought guitar include a select solid Spruce top with scalloped bracing, Nato back and sides, Rosewood fingerboard, and bridge, die-cast tuners, and Yamaha’s famed build quality accompanied by a very affordable price.
Yamaha bills this guitar as a “beginning” instrument, but we can tell you the only thing that’s beginner about the FG800VN is the price! The sound, fit-and-finish, and playability are way above most instruments anywhere near its price.
