The Yamaha TRBX504 4-string electric bass guitar features a beautifully sculpted solid mahogany body with exceptional balance, tone, comfort, and ideal weight distribution. It is designed to stay in a position that promotes good playing posture and playability.
The laminated 5-piece maple/mahogany neck on the TRBX-504 is very fast and comfortable with excellent tone and stability. It's precision-fitted for maximum adjustability and tone. Developed through extensive play-testing, the refined neck joint shape balances strength, vibration transfer, and upper-fret access.
Yamaha Guitar Development designed H5 pickups for the TRBX504 that provide a clean, and open tone perfectly matched with the flexibility of the active/passive preamp design. Its quad-polepiece design and Alnico magnets give them the power to drive the active circuit, and the sensitivity and subtlety to capture every nuance in passive mode.
The hi-fi grade active/passive circuit on the TRBX504 provides exceptional tonal control and flexibility, with matched level output in both passive and active modes. The tone-switching mode seamlessly moves from treble control to master passive tone.
Gold-plated parts are used on important contact points, providing increased conductivity and reliability, and the LED on the back panel gives an instant indication of a low battery to prevent sudden power loss during your performance
The Yamaha TRBX504 boasts a high-mass, die-cast bridge that efficiently transfers string vibrations to the body producing a rich tone combined with excellent adjustability and intonation. The 18 mm string spacing provides good playability for technical slap or finger styles, while the straight string pull, from the nut to the machine head, eliminates lateral tension for superior tuning stability and reduced overtones.
