The MXR TIMMY Overdrive mini pedal gives you an extensive range of in-your-face grit and mean tones. It enhances your sound without affecting your fundamental sound and frees up some real estate on your pedalboard at the same time.
Based on a design from guitar pedal builder Paul Cochrane, the MXR TIMMY Overdrive pedal is a collaboration between the two. Unique features include the Clip switch, which provides three different clipping styles for a multitude of scenarios. From a big, bold always-on sound with a ton of headroom to a more compressed and saturated sound for fat chords, or anything in between.
The Bass and Treble control provides further refinement in two ways:
- the controls are cut-only, keeping your signal’s character intact
- the Bass control affects your pre-OD signal so that you can maintain low end at lower Gain settings and the Treble control affects your post-OD signal so that you can adjust the top end to keep dirty settings smooth and musical
