The Amahi UK217PT Peanut ukulele has a narrower body than a soprano uke, but the same playability and fun factor. It features white binding on the body and neck, inlaid sound hole, sealed die cast tuners and a deluxe bag. What sets this uke apart from other ukuleles in this price range, is its peanut shape and dressed frets. With dressed frets, there are no rough or jagged edges on the fret ends.
Ukuleles commonly come in four sizes: soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone. The soprano, often called "standard" in Hawaii, is the smallest, and the original size ukulele. The concert size was developed in the 1920s as an enhanced soprano, slightly larger and louder with a deeper tone. Shortly thereafter, the tenor was created, having more volume and deeper bass tone. The largest size is the baritone, created in the 1940s.
The Amahi UK217PT Peanut ukulele is cute, affordable and fun to play. Call Andy's and get yours on the way.
