The Nextone Stage guitar amp lets you re-voice your amp to choose the sound you want, whether it is from an American guitar amp or a British stack. American sounds are represented with 6V6 and 6L6 output tube types, while British sounds are represented with EL84 and EL34 types. Unlike modeling amps, the BOSS Nextone Stage combo guitar amplifier physically changes the complete output circuitry, as well as the way the preamp and speaker interact with it. BOSS Nextone guitar amplifiers have a dual-channel design with clean and lead channels and a shared three-band tone stack and presence control. With a quick button press, you can switch your amp into a custom mode, which provides factory-tweaked variations of the standard clean and lead channels. Built-in effects include delay, reverb, and tremolo effects, and you can also use the Nextone Editor to tweak the effects to your liking. There's also an effects loop available for you to connect your outboard gear.
Other features include a line out for sending a direct signal to a PA, a phones/recording output, external speaker jacks, and a USB connector. The optional GA-FC foot controller provides channel selection, tone, boost, effects, pedal volume, and more. If you need to travel light, up to three FS-series footswitches can be used to control various functions.
