The Ibanez SR300ECFM Anniversary Limited Edition bass is part of the legendary Ibanez SR series, which features smooth fast necks, lightweight and contoured bodies, and perfectly matched electronics.
The Ibanez Soundgear bass SR300E, one of the best-selling basses in the U.S., features the PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups with custom Ibanez electronics. The look and feel are the same, but the tone has moved up a notch.
The newly designed PowerSpan Dual Coil (PDC) pickups produce a tone rich in harmonic detail and dynamic expression. The exposed pole pieces produce a stronger signal and increase the response of the higher frequencies without sacrificing the low end.
There are three modes on the SR300E Ibanez bass that work in union with the 3-band EQ and coil tap switch. This dual combination provides maximum control over a wide variety of professional bass tones.
Tap Mode (single coil) creates a punchy, dynamic sound with superior articulation. Series Mode (humbucking) delivers a full, warm tone, and Power Tap Mode provides the best of both worlds幼ombining the clarity of the single coil with the fat bottom end of the humbucker.
The Accu-Cast B120 bridge on the SR300E electric bass has extra-wide string slots that can accommodate even heavy string gauges. The saddle design ensures the string will stay in the string channel, ensuring directional uniformity. This bridge design optimizes the transmission of string vibration and produces a rich tone with lasting sustain.
