The Ibanez UEW5E concert uke is the acoustic-electric version of the UEW5, featuring the AEQ2U electronics with a built-in tuner.
Electronics include the AEQ2U preamp with onboard tuner and under-saddle pickup. Its simple 2-band control makes adjusting your sound a simple and easy task.
The all-mahogany body is both functional and attractive, providing a warm or dark tone when compared to spruce, and the open-pore finish enhances the tone and increases volume.
Other features include compensated saddle and chrome tuners for stable and accurate tuning; maple dot inlays on the Purpleheart fingerboard, abalone soundhole rosette, and cutaway design for easy access to the upper frets.
