The Vic Firth Heavy Hitter Slimpad, model HHPSL, is a portable, hard-surface practice pad specifically designed to help the marching drummer keep their chops sharp off the field.
Even when played full force at the loudest dynamic, the Slimpad absorbs the blows and controls the volume for more extended and later practice.
The thin, hard rubber surface provides a high-tension marching snare's authentic feel and response, with quick rebound and tight articulation.
You can use the Slimpad on any surface, including your drum, or right on your lap. The durable wooden base and underside grip keeps the drum pad in place, and for convenient practice, it fits most snare drum stands.
