The XO Brass 1236RL-T Bb/F open wrap rotary trombone with interchangeable leadpipes boasts easy playability and balanced response that gives you a beautiful rich tone with excellent response.
The 8-1/2" Rose brass bell on the XO 1236RLT produces a warm, rich sound with accurate intonation. The slide action is smooth with a quick response, and its playability is consistent in almost any register or dynamic.
The .547" bore with a yellow brass outer slide delivers a superior response and centered tone and is characterized by a surprisingly open, free-blowing response, and smooth slide action.
The XO 1236RLT trombone's three-piece-balance-counterweight system can easily be installed or removed with a threaded cap. It allows you to balance the instrument and provides a better playing experience. You decide whether to use the counterweight system depending on your personal preferences.
The three interchangeable leadpipes allow you to personalize your playing experience:
- 200 mm Yellow brass - standard leadpipe, less resistance with an open, free-blowing feel
- 230 mm Yellow brass - has a little extra resistance for better slotting and articulation
- 200 mm Sterling silver - provides solid fundamentals with a clear attack
