The Alhambra 1-OP-US classical guitar is made in Spain and boasts a solid Cedar top with mahogany back and sides. Its sound and affordability have made it an exceptional value in nylon string guitars.
Important features of the Alhambra guitar include an A Grade solid cedar top, an open pore finish, a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and D'Addario strings. Additionally, a deluxe padded gig bag is included.
Although Alhambra calls this a student guitar, nothing about the sound or build quality says student. Likewise, to help the beginning student, the string action has been set low at the factory for easy fretting.
Even though it's affordable for a guitar made in Spain, the 1OP-US Alhambra guitar does not compromise on sound quality. It produces a full, well-balanced tone and should please most guitarists wanting an affordable nylon string guitar.
