The Alvarez LJE95CEARSHB Artist Elite acoustic-electric guitar is a small body instrument that can play any style of music, but it really shines with fingerstyle playing.
Alvarez labels the LJE95 as a Little Jumbo, but you could also call it a 3/4 size or a high-quality travel guitar. The body width is only 1" shorter than the Alvarez Grand Auditorium, so it's still capable of producing an impressive sound for its size.
The voicing of this Alvarez Little Jumbo Artist Elite acoustic is achieved through a modified FS6 bracing pattern and light graduating of the top to enhance vibrations. This produces a slightly darker tone than that of a spruce top guitar, but with more volume and tone than you would expect.
The Alvarez Artist Little Jumbo LJE95CEARSHB acoustic-electric guitar features the LR Baggs VTC Element pickup system, which is known as one of the most natural-sounding acoustic-electric systems available. When you plug the guitar into an acoustic amp or PA system, you hear a natural acoustic guitar tone.
