The Yamaha AV7 SG violin is handcrafted from selected natural woods and makes an ideal first instrument for beginners wanting to step-up to a better violin.
Fully hand-carved, the AV7 features a spruce top, a maple neck, and maple back and sides. The tonewoods are seasoned for more than five years and finished with special oil varnish shading that provides a lustrous appearance.
In addition to the quality tonewoods of the AV7, other important features include solid ebony fittings, a Wittner tailpiece with four fine tuners. and most importantly the AV7 is shop-adjusted by Yamaha technicians to meet and exceed MENC standards.
