Evans MX5 Snare Side Marching drumheads contain an aramid fiber (Kevlar), and polyester laminate for maximum snare response.
This 5mil single-ply drumhead contains a thin overtone control ring that enhances articulation by reinforcing the edge durability, which eliminates unwanted overtones.
Evans MX5 heads are made using a 5mil thick aramid fiber/polyester laminate that produces drum corps sound while providing maximum snare response. It delivers a more crisp snare response than a standard Kevlar bottom head.
