The Roland FP-10 is a wonderful piano at a great price. The feel of the keys is very good at this price-range, and the piano sound is first class, especially through headphones. There are a few nice sounds (e-piano, strings, a pad, jazz scat, etc.) and you can combine them - I particularly like the piano with a soft pad. The accompanying Piano Partner 2 app gives you more sounds and more control over the instrument. It includes some nice pre-recorded songs, and also lets you record your play via MIDI over Bluetooth - perfect for the budding composer wanting to record some music into Garage Band!
Of course, for $500, you're not going to get the best piano in the world. My grandfather owns a 100 year old Steinway, and the way the bass comes through on that instrument is breathtaking. I grew up playing mid-priced uprights worth several thousand dollars. You're not going to get that sort of instrument at this price. And the most obvious place you notice this is in the speakers. I leave mine at full volume most of the time, and when playing a louder piece you just don't feel a great deal of power coming from the instrument. It's fine for solo play, and is OK when singing with one person, but you won't be leading a big family sing-a-long with the instrument as it stands. That said, the actual sound signal produced by the instrument is great - with headphones it's wonderfully crisp, and I have heard that plugging a $100 set of speakers into the piano transforms the instrument. And if there was one place they had to compromise, it's probably good they chose the speakers (which can be replaced) rather than the hammer action or sound engine, both of which are excellent.
Overall, we were on a budget, and I'm very happy with my purchase. This would be a great first piano - I completed Grade 8 AMEB a decade ago, and I think a piano like this would be perfectly adequate through Grade 5 at least. And it is also great for people (like us!) who are classically trained but aren't in a position to spend $5000 on an acoustic piano. I'm back to practicing those Debussy and Chopin pieces I always wanted to learn, and am ecstatic to be back at the keyboard.
Price matched that of online retailers and included quality bonus items. Order was ready for pickup in less than an hour and staff was friendly. The Yamaha has been a fantastic piano to start on and undoubtedly serve our family for many years! Be sure to have someone help you transport and assemble because it is heavy.
Perfect size for a teen or small adult.
This Case is a VERY high quality item. The exterior and interior are incredibly well made, the patches are strong and secure. The padding is excellent. It will adequately protect a fine instrument.
It has feet on the bottom, side and even the very bottom of the case allowing it to stand up, and it’s reasonably secure doing so, not that I would, but a momentary stand up on a hard surface is safe and stable. I have an Alvarez guitar and the factory case must be made by the same company as it is the same case with a different covering. This tweed version with the green interior is far nicer! Andy’s music had the best price, super fast service and shipping and it was well packed, not a scratch on it!! It’s the best dreadnought case I have seen and found.
Fits all my parlor guitars
Oreder process was easy, it only arrived in 3 days. The black C40II is beautiful, lightweight and it has clear sound. The guitar bag is very good quality. It came with all the accessories listed. I am really enjoying this guitar!
Me éncanto lo que he comprado sin lugar a duda.
This is my first stand for my alto sax. It's sturdy and easy to assemble.
great bundle at a good price and fast delivery. The Cordoba Protege Estudio 7/8 is the perfect size for a beginner. The fret bar is similar in width to a steel string acoustic which makes it easier to play the various chords. Good tone & good looking instrument. I'm glad I purchased this guitar from Andy's
Very nice quality case for the price I paid. Fits a couple of our guitar models perfectly.
Will be ordering again in the near future.
James was a delight to deal with! This is why I use local businesses!
The guitar was a birthday gift for our son. Guitar has great sound. He is happy with the color and that it came with a case. I ordered from Andy's Music because the store nearby to my son did not have this guitar in the color he wanted. Very happy with the purchase price as well as how quickly the guitar & case were shipped. Would not hesitate to purchase from Andy's again.
Pretty much all you need to keep your sax up to par.
I’m realizing now that if you acquire a preowned horn with its original case, no matter how old or ineffective it may seem, refurbishing the case should probably be a consideration since all of the parts most likely will fit better.
This end piece is exactly what I used, well over 40 years ago before I purchased a “pad saver” (I believe it was called a “shove-it” when I bought it from the Sax Shoppe in Evanston, Illinois back in 1978.) I’ve since purchased a rather, more concise case that doesn’t allow enough room for this otherwise, normal end piece🤪 oops 😄
I've had a number of great experiences with Andy's Music. I initially called to ask if one of their cases would fit my older 1960's Univox 335 tribute. They steered me to the correct case and ordered a few more. I also ordered their jumbo case to fit my Univox L5 tribute and that fit nicely as well. They ship promptly and do a pretty good job of packing the guitar cases. I did not have any damage to the 5 or 6 cases that I purchased. To go one step further, the person I spoke to on the phone told me to hold off a day on my order to take advantage of a sale they were having. They didn't have to do that and that just tells me that they care about their customers. One thing I will say about these cases. They are good cases but I don't know how road worthy they are. Our cases were bought to protect part of our guitar collection and replace the older chipboard 1960's vintage cases.
Purchased case for a new 12 string. From the very good and exact measurements supplied, it fit like a glove. For the price, it's a very nice case. Nicely done Andy's Music!
Wonderful guitar for my 14 year old daughter. Customer service was wonderful. The associates gave time to answer my questions and item shipped soon and arrived in perfect condition.
Was a gift for our granddaughter. It's in daily use and she's very happy with it. Has already saved her guitar once when a friend dropped it (in the case).
From the phone call to check on the condition and availability to checkout and delivery the experience was nothing but professional, pleasant and fast. Two thumbs up. Cheers!
Wish the keyboard had more than 1 track to record on.... other than that great item.... the seller shipped fast and well
What a great deal! The sound quality of the guitar is fantastic for a beginner guitar. Zero regrets with this purchase. Andy's music provided great advice and customer service.
Got it for my son as a Christmas present. He loves it!
Brand new condition, shipped very quickly, very satisfied, 5 stars *****
Good fit. Thank you.
I just started taking lessons and was looking for a good, "can't go wrong" guitar to get things moving. The FG800 is great. I'm a research hound and went read reviews all over the place. Google "Acoustic Guiatars for Beginners". The Yamaha is always in the top 5. Solid top and sounds beautiful, and loud. Plus you cannot beat this package. Be sure to carefully look at the gig bag in other merchants' packages...they don't compare to the Gear Buddy. Thanks Andy's, you have one very satisfied customer.
This bag has a lot of bang for the buck. I've had bags that cost more and weren't made as well. The large zippers are easy to grab, and the large outside pocket holds most of my "stuff".
Yamaha guitars sound awesome, and this is no exception. Would definitely recommend! Strings are decent, the action isn't too high at all, so you can easily go a few months without doing a setup on it, if you really wanted to. Sounds like, well, a Yamaha. Which is a very good thing, at least for my taste. I'm sure if you're here about to order, you've heard it on you-tube, or played one yourself. I ordered a hard case with it, and Andy's took it upon themselves to put the guitar in the case on their own, so when it came in, I was ecstatic to find out that I didn't have to worry about whether it was damaged from shipping companies roughing it up. Would definitely do business with them again!
What a great deal!
Great case at an amazing price, fits the SG like a glove-Thanks!
Case arrived in great shape - good quality product
Sturdy, functional and very affordable. Long enough to fit my Yamaha FG720S-12.
I bought this case and received it within just two days! Nice case and fits my Alvarez great.
Best hardshell case I've ever seen. It's a true classical guitar hardshell case and not oversized. The price is very reasonable. The people at Andy's are very nice and helpful and professional.
