The Ibanez AW54LOPN is the left-handed version of the AW540PN and features a solid Mahogany top, and laminated back and sides. It is a dreadnought size instrument, and part of the Artwood Series from Ibanez, which made its first appearance back in the 1980s.
The AW54L has high-end features at more affordable prices than comparable brands. Important features include an all mahogany body, which produces a very warm or deep tone when compared to a spruce top in combination with mahogany back and sides.
The Open Pore finish allows the guitar to resonate more freely than a guitar finished in a traditional way with urethane or lacquer. When you strum this instrument you can hear the difference.
