The John Packer JP274 4-valve euphonium is crafted for serious students and advanced players, providing precision and versatility with its fully compensating system.
A compensating system lets you play a chromatic scale by rerouting the 4th valve tubing back through the first three valves. Consequently, when the 4th valve is employed in conjunction with other valves, air can be automatically directed through additional compensating loops.
This B-flat euphonium features a classic 12" upright bell that delivers a rich sound, smooth action valves, and a tone ideal for concert bands or soloists.
Popular with advanced players, schools, and music educators, the John Packer JP274 4-valve euphonium comes with a mouthpiece and hard case. The case is well-built and sturdy ensuring maximum protection for your instrument.
Baritone horn and euphonium are often referred to interchangeably; the main difference is the bore size. Euphoniums have conical tubing whereas the baritone is cylindrical, maintaining a consistent bore size.
