The MXR Deep Phase pedal has a unique vintage voice that's crystal clear with a pronounced swoosh, and dynamic, vocal-like response to the attack. Whether you want dreamy, fluid chords or gentle textured melodies, the Deep Phase pedal will adjust to your playing dynamically.
While the original model caused volume drops when engaged, the Deep Phase Pedal has been designed to match your volume level when you kick the switch. The Deep Phase works well with low frequencies too, so it sounds good on bass.
The MXR Deep Phase takes you from smooth and subtle to turbulent and intense with just two knobs and a switch. The Speed knob adjusts the effect rate, while the FDBK (feedback) knob adjusts the intensity and sharpness of the phase peaks.
For a smooth effect, the Deep Phase Pedal runs on 4 phase shifter stages, while the Mode II switch doubles that to 8 stages for twice the number of peaks and a more animated texture. Think phase shifter on steroids!
