The Yamaha APX600 acoustic-electric guitar is one of the world's best-selling guitars. It continues the best-selling thin-body style series that began with the original APX500 decades ago and improves on its predecessor, the APX500III, with some new important features.

Important features on the APX600 include an abalone rosette, 25" scale length, System 65A preamp with onboard tuner, Spruce top, Nato back and sides, die-cast tuners, and two new colors, Vintage White, and Old Violin Sunburst.

The thin-line body of the Yamaha APX600 combines comfort, easy top-fret access, and a sound that's suited for on-stage use - clear mids, balanced highs, and controlled lows. A specially designed non-scalloped X-type bracing allows the guitar’s top to maximize the resonance of the body for a full, natural acoustic guitar tone.

The thin body depth of the APX600 Series is comfortable for electric guitar players wanting to play acoustic, and guitarists who desire a smaller (than a dreadnought) guitar.

GOOD PLACE TO BUY!!!

I bought a Yamaha APX600 VINTAGE WHITE and wasn't surprised by the quality and the playability!!! I own 92 guitars (80 electric) and now have 12 Yamaha electric/acoustics. I've been playing guitar and piano for over 30 years and would like to think I can give proper feedback on any guitar review. Don't be fooled by the lower end price range because this guitar plays like a $500 acoustic. Out of the box it's ready to play. I made some adjustments for my liking but not necessary to play and sound good!!! 1st time buyer from Andy's Music and I most certainly will buy from them again in the near future!!! I have at least 8 more guitars to buy so I look forward to buying from Andy's Music soon.

Nice guitar

The finish is beautiful and the trim is very nice. Yamaha guitars are above average, that's one reason I bought it. The other is the resale value of this series. My friend bought the last version at a second hand shop and it's value used is through the roof, one of the best selling guitars ever! I Have played it just a bit an d love every feature. I'm glad I have it in my arsenal!
