The BOSS GX-1 guitar effects processor delivers professional-grade tone and flexibility in an ultra-compact, travel-ready design. Powered by advanced algorithms inherited from the GX-100, it offers authentic amp feel, studio-quality effects, and intuitive control—making it ideal for practice, recording, and live performance.
At the heart of the GX-1 are 23 expressive AIRD amplifier types and over 140 BOSS effects, with up to eight simultaneous effect blocks plus volume pedal and noise suppression. A bright color display and hexagon-shaped effect buttons make editing fast and frustration-free, while Gear Suite lets you instantly recall expertly tuned amp and effect settings with a simple knob turn.
Designed for players of all levels, the BOSS GX-1 includes 99 factory presets and 99 user memories, fully assignable footswitches, and an onboard expression pedal with toe switch. Bluetooth® and USB-C® connectivity allow you to stream music, record directly into a DAW, and edit sounds using BOSS Tone Studio on macOS, Windows, iOS, or Android.
Despite its powerful feature set, the GX-1 remains remarkably portable. It fits easily in a gig bag or guitar case and runs on AA batteries, AC power, or USB, giving you total freedom wherever you play.
