This 10-channel stereo mixer features studio-grade D-PRE Class-A mic preamps, Yamaha SPX digital effects, and custom MG01 op-amps for clean, natural sound with low distortion. Switchable phantom power and PAD switches ensure compatibility with condenser microphones while preventing clipping. Yamaha’s industry-standard one-knob compressors make it easy to dial in polished dynamics instantly.
Class-A Mic Preamps
D-Pre preamps in the MG10XU are studio-grade, and deliver natural-sounding bass and smooth highs, with very low distortion. They have a wide frequency range that can handle signals from almost any signal source without amplifying unwanted noise.
Op-Amp Integrated Circuits
The MG10XU mixer has custom-made MG01 op-amps that were developed in cooperation with the manufacturer to focus on signal quality as the most important component.
Switchable Phantom Power
With phantom power, MG Series audio mixers allow you to take full advantage of the greater frequency response and high sound quality of condenser microphones. The PAD Switch attenuates high input signals and helps to avoid clipping that can seriously affect your mix.
