The Maple Leaf Strings MLS450 Vieuxtemps Violin is a full-sized instrument based on the famous Guarneri del Gesù violin owned by Henri Vieuxtemps. It captures many of the visual and aural attributes of the original masterpiece violin.
This violin outfit is expertly crafted for advancing students with a hand-carved medium-figured Grade A seasoned spruce top with flamed curly maple back, ebony fittings, a Graphite composite violin bow, and a custom embroidered plywood case.
Included with this violin outfit is the Maple Leaf Strings case #2001, which is durable and affordable. It boasts plywood construction and suspension, durable hardware, and ample protection for your instrument.
The screw-fastened, cloth-covered exterior features a full-length music pocket, zipper closure with latch, and detachable back-pack style straps. The silver-gray plush interior provides four Hill-style bow holders, a large storage compartment for accessories, and an instrument blanket.
Additionally, the Maple Leaf Strings graphite composite violin bow features an ebony half-lined frog, and Mongolian horsehair and provides a performance bow that's both reliable and affordable.
