The MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay pedal boasts old-school analog warmth with up to 600ms of delay time and modulation. With this MXR analog delay pedal, you can create all those classic slap-back echo effects from bygone years.
In addition to echo (delay), the Carbon Copy Delay pedal provides a modulation section. Just push the Mod switch and adjust the internal Speed and Depth controls to add everything from tape echo warble to shimmery, liquefied chorusing to your repeats. Finally, adjust the parameters of your delay signal with the Regen, Mix, and Delay controls.
The three-knob layout control allows you to change the Delay, Mix, and Regeneration. Additionally, there are two internal trim pots that offer user-adjustable width and rate control of the modulation for even more tonal options. All are processed in an analog audio path for authentic analog delay, made possible only by old-school MXR analog bucket brigade technology.
What does "true bypass" mean? When a true bypass pedal is in bypass mode, the signal will go directly from the pedal’s input to its output without passing through the pedal’s effect circuitry or connecting to any other circuitry within the pedal. This means it will not change the original sound (audio) of your instrument.
