The VOX VT40X modeling amplifier is a 40-watt guitar amp with modeling technology that gives you the best of both worlds - tube warmth and solid-state reliability. This new VOX modeling engine sounds better than before.
By using Virtual Element Technology (VET), the VOX VT40X amplifier produces the most accurate and realistic VOX amplifier sounds to date.
The Brits call them "valves" and we call them tubes, but no matter what name you want to use, tubes produce that familiar classic, warm tone. The multi-stage Valvetronix tube preamp design in the VT40X incorporates authentic analog circuitry to achieve subtle tonal adjustments and capture the nuances that are distinctive of vacuum tube amps.
The original VOX Valve Reactor circuitry made its debut in 2001, but since then, it has undergone continual renewal in response to the latest developments in amplifier technology in order to meet the needs of today's guitarists.
Additionally, the VOX VT40X amp is equipped with a USB port for easy integration with a PC, Mac, or iOS & Android platforms. They work seamlessly with the new VOX Tone Room software for deep editing of your favorite amp models, effects, and presets!
Tone Room is available to download on your PC, or Mac via the Support tab on the VOX website, and is also available for iOS and Android devices via the App Store or Google Play!
